Compassionate Mindful Resilience (CMR)

  • What is the Compassionate Mindful Resilience Programme?

    This internationally accredited 4-week Compassionate Mindful Resilience (CMR) programme offers engaging, accessible, and evidence-based practices, skills, and techniques to build resilience and enhance wellbeing through mindfulness and compassion. Designed by Karen Atkinson, CEO of MindfulnessUK, the programme supports individuals, groups, teams, employees, and organisations. It is recognised by the European and British Associations of Mindfulness-Based Approaches (EAMBA & BAMBA) and is accredited by the CPD Standards Office, with participants earning a certificate for 8 CPD points upon completion.​

    This course is currently offered to groups and organisations, and can be delivered as a four or eight session course, online or in person. Please get in touch if you would like to discuss the course further.

    What does the course entail?

    The course is online, runs over a 4-week period, and sessions last 2 hours. In each session we will explore mindfulness, compassion and resilience through presentation, discussion, practice and reflection.  To help you gain the maximum benefit from the course, we will encourage you to commit to practicing some of the techniques between sessions for at least 5 out of 7 days. All participants will receive a handbook on enrolment, and you will have access to various resources throughout the course.
