Courses
Attending a course is an effective way of starting your mindfulness journey, and can provide momentum to an already established mindfulness practice.
Courses also offer an opportunity to be part of a community, giving you the motivation to persist in establishing a personal practice, as well as providing the basis for further study, or even teacher training.
I offer two main courses: Mindful Compassionate Resilience (CMR) - 4 Week Course and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) - 8 Week Course
Both courses can be adapted for different audiences, and can be taught privately for a group or organisations.
Please get in touch if you wish to discuss options.

Why embark on a mindfulness course?
Build a Sustainable Habit
The hardest part of mindfulness isn't the meditation itself - it’s doing it consistently. A course provides a structured framework that turns a fleeting interest into a lasting habit. By meeting weekly, you move past the "honeymoon phase" and learn how to navigate the common obstacles, such as restlessness or a busy schedule. You aren't just learning a skill; you are retraining your brain to default to a state of calm awareness rather than a state of stress.
Practical Tools for Life
Unlike a one-day experience, a course allows you to take what you learn and "test" it in your actual life between sessions. You will acquire a toolkit of evidence-based techniques -such as mindful breathing, body scanning, and cognitive reframing - that you can apply the moment stress hits at work or home. This gradual learning process ensures that you don't just feel better during class, but that you become more resilient and less reactive in your day-to-day interactions.
Expert Guidance & Group Learning
Learning mindfulness from an app can feel isolating and often leaves questions unanswered. In a course setting, you have direct access to an experienced teacher who can provide personalised feedback and clarify your experiences. Furthermore, hearing the insights and challenges of your fellow participants is incredibly validating. This group dynamic creates a "brave space" where you realise your struggles are universal, fostering a sense of compassion for yourself and others as you grow together.
